KMSD has proudly served Hanover and surrounding communities since 2009. With passionate instructors, professionally run classes, and a supportive environment, we’ve earned a reputation for excellence, and a loyal dance family that keeps growing every year.

At what age can my child start dance classes?

We welcome dancers as young as 3 years old in our Tiny Tots classes and and 4 years old in our KMSD Kids program.

These classes are fun, engaging, and the perfect introduction to music, movement and dance!

Who are your instructors?

Our teaching staff includes trained professionals, choreographers, and lifelong dancers. Many of our instructors are certified and have extensive performance and teaching experience. And yes, Miss Kerry still teaches, too! See all about our teachers here

Do you offer performance or competitive opportunities?

All dancers have the opportunity to perform in our amazing (and most often SOLD OUT) June performances.

KMSD is essentially a non-competitive dance studio and we do not have a dance team. However, we often will attend competitions with some of our older groups. Some of our Highland Dancers compete and do medal tests. We also put some dance groups into the Walkerton Festival.

When is registration open?

Fall registration opens in June and continues until the end of September. Classes begin the week after school starts.

How do I register?

What’s the cost of classes?

Tuition depends on the number of classes per week. Discounts are available for families with multiple dancers or for students taking multiple classes. Contact us for a full fee schedule. We offer monthly payments so we can help find what fits your family best!
